Every time I start the car, there’s a blue Engine temp warming light that disappears after about a minute. Manual and dealer says this is normal and reduces power until engine is warmed. Never saw this on any of my AMG cars before. Is anyone else seeing that blue warning light on new G63’s?

 

Yup, on both my AMG’s and my mom’s GLC. It just means the engine oil and coolant isn’t up to temp yet so don’t floor it.

 

Sure did. After I hit over 1k miles. Thought it was odd so I goggle it and got the explanation, It made sense but still took it to get Mercedes for service anyway.
The advisor said it's a usual thing to make sure the engine is ready.
