Concours d’Elegance 2011, Pebble Beach Resort, Celebrating 125 Years of Benz History
I had the lucky chance to drop by the Concours d’Elegance last Sunday, August 21, 2011. Concours d'Elegance, located at Pebble Beach Resort, Monterey, California, is one of the most prestigious car shows in the world, showcasing the finest cars from around the world. Just thought I'd share some pictures.
This year's showcase featured:
• Mercedes-Benz and 125 years of the Automobile
• Stutz Centennial
• Ferrari 250 GTO
• Edwardian Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts
• Italian Motorcycles
There are a bit of pictures so be patient and allow them to load!
There's a mixture of other brands in the pictures but it's mostly Benz.
Enjoy drooling over the cars as I did.
Arrival at Pebble Beach. Some got the grand entrance VIP treatment, sadly I had to park halfway across town and take the shuttle bus.

There are actually a lot more cars on display, but I got tired of walking around and taking pictures. Never thought I'd say that at a car show!
Oh btw, aside from all the ridiculous gold Rolex Daytona watches they raffled off, they also raffled off a bunch of cars. Six in total I believe, Lexus, Infinity, Saab and a few more. One of the cars raffled was this new Mercedes C class coupe. Jay Leno gave out the keys to the happy new owners. Sadly I didn't win.
Oh well!

Just checking this, very cool! You put a lot of effort into sharing these with us, thanks. I know what you mean about putting the camera down once in a while, it's so easy to get too distracted taking photos that once you get home you feel like you didn't actually "see" anything you intended to.
