I love those cars, we've had 2 of them, 82 and 85 300td sedans, the 82 china blue car was owned by a professor in Cambridge mass. Came with a stack about a foot tall of receipts so i knew it's full history. At the time I was desperate for money and used to buy and fix up cars to flip.
That is the one I wish we would have kept
Ran great, interior was dark blue mbtex in flawless condition, even the dash. Only had 125k miles... that was back in......... uuummmmm early 2000's or so.... Easily cruised at 80-90mph on the highway....
