I have this on hold for the moment while I do some research. So here I am. This is for sale locally by the original owner. It runs very rough according to them but I've not heard it. It has some rust in the trunk as seen in one image and perhaps a little elsewhere. However, the car is very straight. Doors open and close easily, etc...
I don't know a thing about these older cars at all. Money pit? Investment?
He says $1000 and it is mine. I've got until Wednesday to let him know and then it goes to the next guy.

W114 are not really sought after models, at least not yet. You will have to throw a lot of money in it. Unless you have a particular affinity for this car I would pass. He will not be getting more that $200 from either the junk yards or metal recycle.
