Large Scale Mercedes Benz prop from old film
Hi Guys,
I am trying to determine what model of Mercedes Benz this 1/4 scale film prop (possibly from a 30's or 40's film) is based upon? My guess was a 15-70-100 tourer from the late 20s, or maybe 770 cabriolet from the 30s? Not an expert on these classics, so that's as much as i could come up with. Any best guesses would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris

Not a 770 for sure. 1920s for sure.
15-70-100 is a good guess but the wheels and side engine vents aren't matching.
Might be a late version of the 28/95, which ended in 1924.
Radiator says early 1920s. Bumper says late 1920s.
Front eagle shield looks late 1920s Weimar Republic. It's possible all of the details on the movie prop are not historically contemporaneous.
