Hello all
Thought maybe someone out there in Mercedes internet world would like to see my project.
We had the body redone and painted and now we are putting her all back together.

Body looks great. Thanks for posting, will follow your progress. Do you have a target on the road date?

The goal is to have her road ready by summer. We had it running 2 years ago so that huge task has already been tackled.
This week my father and I will finish the interior and then start putting all the chrome on after that.
Last but not least we need to put in all new brake calipers, pads and lines. The lines are going to suck.
Can't wait really since this car has been in my family for 30 years now and was neglected for a very long time.

Fun project. How are you going to do the brake lines? Can you buy pre-bent OEM parts like the factory? Or will you buy lengths of tube and bend them yourself?

We will most likely just buy brake lines and bend them into shape. I have already purchased the master brake cylinder, rubber brake lines, rotors, calipers and pads.
Time will tell.

Mercedes code 387 blue metallic which is a Glasurit original paint code. I was able to locate a local paint supply store that sells BASF paint which luckily owns the Glasurit line so they could mix the color.
