The tab on the front side of the airbox seems like it's snapped off, so the box had been running open to the air. I suppose it had been oscillating back and forth, and putting the flow sensor into a futz. That caused my stumble and miss.
I was pretty far from home, and it was getting worse so I popped the hood at a gas station. Lacking any tools, I hammered the tab slightly tighter....and that pretty much cured it.
Of course a friendy Central PA Redneck stopped to offer help, and said he had tools if I needed them. Understandably, I looked silly hammering the engine bay with a tire iron, but it worked.
Lesson learned; don't leave home on a 200mi drive w/o tools. Also, this car gets more attention than a side-piped Huracan.
