Anyone been to an AMG Track day?
I was looking at the MB site and saw details of the AMG track day, has anyone gone to one of these, $1200 seems pretty expensive to me, what did you think?

Even got to speak with a Product Manager for AMG. While he obviously couldn't disclose all of the future, answered plenty of questions which will help in my decision process.
One guy flew all the way from Vietnam, talk about a committment to fun. Several folks went to the intro course on Monday and then the Graduate program on Tuesday. Those I spoke with liked the Graduate program much better. More track time, etc...
If anyone gets the opportunity, I would highly recommend it. Remember...What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas

Vince:
Thanks for your "review" of the event, I'm signed up for the Road America version in July. After reading your review I cannot wait to go. It will be interesting to see how the location (track vs course) plays into the overall experience.
Cheers!

Definitely thinking about it, $1200 does seem a a little steep but I guess it is a rare opportunity to drive some pretty amazing cars in a very fun environment....

I understand the budgeting approach but for the money I think I'll add a Euro Comand instead (not quite the same price but will last alot longer).

If I was thinking of buying a new AMG this was the best place to test drive all this cars and see what they can do! $1200 bucks is a good deal.
