When one of you guys take in your car for an appointment how soo do you get it back? and for what kind of job?
My father is making a fuss that he should get his car back the same day or the next day in the morning because its "Mercedes-Benz".

I don't think that it being a "Mercedes-Benz" means anything, but the nature of the work being performed should be the deciding the factor in how long it should take to get the car back. I have never had to leave the car for longer than a day and generally they call with it ready within a few hours. I have left the car there longer, but that was at my request for convinience of not having to rush to pick the car up. I have never had any major work done, just little piddly things.

For anything that did not require a part I always got the car back same day, sometimes within 4 hours. Parts are another story....rarely were required parts (other than filters and wiper blades) on hand. Once they had my car for 5 days because they fixed three problems serially and each required a part. I was given a C240 for a loaner so it wasn't all that bad.

I dunno why, but often times they do "not" have the part for my ML55, are the components from a normal ml that different? I was waiting on a compressor for the AC unit for 3 days. The car is still not fixed, brining it in tommorow tommorow so they can put it in. Im expecting them to finish it the same day, or unfortunately my father is going to bust in there and just
Hopefully that can be avoided..

Pump and pulley replacement. So "Far" it has been a week.
Depot sent wrong parts twice. Then they blew out my front right tire
But overall service has been good until now
