e-owners manual

hey guys,

is there any way to get an electronic version of the owners manual, for the 2000 w202 c230K?

i have tried the MB site, and they require a vin number, which i do not have.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all

No VIN number?

Where do you live that you can register a car with no VIN number? Or haven't you tried to register it yet? The car has to be either stolen, or brought back from being totalled and written off and the VIN number removed for use on another stolen car.

I got a w211 CDI manual from an MB site someplace, but I can't remember if I had to register or not.. I'll look into it.

The car is in a different city than me right now, and i really don't want to bus from edmonton to calgary (4 hr ride) just to get the VIN number...lol and no my car is not stolen

So you have a VIN number, you just don't know what it is. BIG difference. Don't you have someone in Calgary that you can telephone to look through the front window and get it for you?

MBusa does not have any manuals on their site for vehicles older than 2001...I know because I work there...as for getting a manual there are PDF versions floating around....you could try calling 1.800.367.6372....they might be able to get you one..

thanks for the suggestion moonwaffle,

i called MB usa (the number you gave me), but the customer care rep told me that MB does not have any pdf owner manuals, and that if i wanted an owners manual the only way to get one would be to order another paper back copy.....i am almost 100% positive that there are electronic owner manuals out there....
