Hi all, looks like this is gona be a monster! And yes, looks like there will be a C 63 AMG as well.

imagine: a 6.2 litre engine that revs to 7200rpm... WTF....

2009 SL63 AMG
The new 63 AMG engine is very impressive with excellent engineering infused with raw power. Just look at the figures and remember, this is natural aspiration replacing supercharging which makes more power and a very "flat" torque curve.

5.4 Litre SC AMG V8: 493 hp with 516 tq
6.2 Litre NA AMG V8: 510 hp with 465 tq

Would love to see a supercharged version of the 63 V8.
