Using MB logos and photos

Using MB logos and photos
If I publish a MB enthusiast website, do I need permission to publish logos and photos, as long as I give credit to the company?
Or am I limited to photos that are posted by the person who took them?

I got a response from MBUSA, they don't like the use of their logos in 3rd party sites.
But our forum mod here believes (and I agree) that MBUSA will not fight against fan sites, since there are so many already.
I will go ahead and launch my site later this year, and talk to my local dealers in the DC area for their endorsement...

Here's an update:
I got good support and thumbs-up from the local Benz dealers, but they said that I would have to contact MBUSA for official press materials.
So, I wrote to MBUSA again, and got the same response. They don't want me to use their official photos on my website.
I emailed them back, asking how I can get a "journalist badge" to qualify for usage of their materials, so I'll wait to hear back from them.
In the meantime, I put up an initial design on BenzFanz.com with the 360-view up, and I have been working on a new design that should be more user-friendly.
Right now, it's supposed to mimic the COMAND layout, but it looks really awkward as a website.
