Daily driver to eventually autocross - what model???
I regularly get crap 
about daily driving my Camaro SS, especially since it has a roll bar and no back seats (I autocross it). I am trying to start scoping out a "respectable" daily driver. I used to think I wanted a BMW M3, but now I am stuck on Mercedes.
Whatever I buy will likely become modded and run on full track autocross or road race courses. I will be looking for "value" in the short term, with potential for later upgrades. I would like to say $20-30k for a used model is the price range. The platform must be suitable for autocross in the long run and I would like it to be a model that has a foundation of regular upgrading by owners.
