lol...i see ur point, but really it doesn't matter what kind of benz we drive, it's our car, we drive it, we love it, period. The 3rd richest man in the world drives a Cadillac and lives in a $500,000 house. Does that make him cheapo?

2003 CLK 500
I dont really know where this thread is going but... I am A 24 year old white male who dropped out of college. That being said, I manage a very nice resturaunt/bar as well as many other investments (all legal, incase you were wondering). I drive a Black 2003 CLK500 Coupe with silver 19" split spoke wheels. I drive the **** out of it and usually listen to hip hop at a fairly audible volume. I get a lot of looks but usually they are from people admiring the car. I have only had one negative encounter so far. I was at a stop sign (of course all windows and sunroof were down... I love the lack of a pillar on the CLKs!) When a guy in an explorer or highlander or something turned onto the road I was on and screamed "YA F**KING A**HOLE" at me! I just sat there shocked for a second and then laughed the whole drive home! I dont get it but I think its something every younger MB driver has to make the mercedes experience that much more fun

C300 (W204) w/ MM, P1, & 18"amg's
Im an 18 year old driving the new C300 and well just for the thread sake im white SKINED but i am acctually african american (lets not talk about it) so i listen to alot of rap/hiphop (good music only... no music thats on the top 20 basicly) and i get alot of head turns and finger points. never anything negitive other then the eager racer on my tail or something. I do notice alot of older men driving a W203 (last years of the C class, completely diff. body style) and eather they are asking if i like the car and giving me complements or they just shake their head thinking im driving my fathers car... But personal I was raised to only care for my self and close family, so they can go on and shake their heads ill just bob my head to some classic MosDef music (google him for me). My 2cents

It seems i have a totally different reaction when i am driving a benz. I personally drive a acura rsx type s for now but i drive my fathers s550 and my mothers gl450 frequently. I am somewhat of a speed demon, and i know i get pulled over a lot more with the rsx if im driving fast rather than the benzes. The other night, around 12, i was driving back from my girls house and was doing over 80 in a 55 in the s550, and got pulled over. Cop said "this is a real nice car you got here" and i just said thanks officer. He ended up giving me just a seat belt ticket and told me to slow my *** down

True (I mean mine was only $11K from an eBaymotors auction), but those who stare most likely don't even know the difference between the 90's and newer models. A Benz is a Benz, it's a high-end brand. So older folks seeing spoiled youngins driving around in one probably pisses them off.
