I'm just saying that I appreciate it. I didn't think I would get cut down just cause my MB is a little old.

One thing I lie about to my friends and everyone I say im financing my S-class, though I payed for it in Full. People would be asking too many questions, So I need to lie.
I dont know what looks everyone is talking about in NYC no one cares people have bentlys and masratis here. its not like kansas or some small town.
It's not as many looks as i expected. but then again Its not SUMMER time YET!! haha its cold and winter and I drive at night. In the summer windows down its a chick magnet.

No, The C Class was made for guys who would have gorgeous, thin women as passengers.
S Class was intentionally designed big, to fit "big" women, at least 3 feet in width...Cooled glove box is for Slim Fast, and Lean Cuisine meals...Also, there was an optional "Richard Simmons Number One Exercises" DVD that was compatible only with the navigation system in the S Class...

and as for "leaving the keys out" deal.. I say I ride my bike to school.. (it's my personal way of being humble) I DO NOT in any way want to come off as a show off jerk. Always remember: You are driving a mercedes, keep the enjoyment personal if you know what I mean, if people think you drive a camry, or walk to school etc.. so be it. If they in fact see you cruising through a parking lot or something, then they will say heh, I thought that person walked to school. You come off as more "chill" and down to earth ( I like those kinds of people) On the other hand I know of girls who drive bimmers and such, and won't ever look at me until they see me in the car, which I really have a thing against (I have my reasons). Long live the Mercs! Like no other! lol

What a lot of people don't realize is that not all people who buy a C-class buy it because they cannot afford another class. Ever think about how it may just be a logical choice?

hi there, iv just spent some time reading this thread..and i have to say i am quite amazed at the cars that some of the people drive on here at there age, and whether they paid for it themselves or not, who cares?! at least they have taste...as you dont see many young people like that over here...
this has been mentioned breifly before, but over here in England... im 20 and i would not get insured on my e320 cdi for less then £3000 ($5936) luckly i could go down the company insurance route...but even though its still an older mercedes..i do get some dodgy looks even though my friend's celica is worth more then mine
at least the majority of you can be happy that your not paying £1.10 ($2.18) a litre for fuel...

Exactly...
I mean, I could have gotten an '01 S500 for the same price I paid for my C230. It is a nice car, I could have had a V8, way more horsepower than my c230, more legroom for everyone, navigation, etc. BUT, that's not what I wanted. If I wanted to impress people, make them think I'm "ballin", then yeah I could have gotten an S Class. But I really like the C class, and needless to say, so do my friends and family.
To each his own I guess, but no sense in saying people only buy C Classes because they can't afford another class.

Then she says oh you only have a BMW and a Mercedes. How nice.... I drive a Honda.

If I didn't have both cars I would be driving a C55 or M3 right now.
