Will you be purchasing another Mercedes-Benz?
Do you plan to purchase another Mercedes-Benz? If not, why? If yes, what type of Mercedes-Benz do you plan on purchasing?
I definetly plan to purchase another Mercedes-Benz. It will most likely be the next generation SLK32 AMG in 2005; although I am in love with the 750hp Lingenfelter Corvette .

Yes, my next car will definitely also be a Benz. Probably I'll keep my current car for a couple of years, but after that, I guess I'll buy a W211 (the 320 would be enough for me), or a C32 or a SLK32 depending on how big family I'll have by then.

I feel like i've answered this question before when i purchased my car...MB survey! j/k!
I might actually purchase another depends on what they have to offer. Right now i'm pretty happy with mine even though i don't use it cuz i'm always posting here! LOL!

Although I would love to have an SLK 32, the lack of a manual transmission is, for me, a significant ommision. The new SLK is indicated to have a 260 HP version. I think that it may be a non-AMG 2.7 l 6 cylinder kompressor engine and hopefully with a manual. But if they ever come out with an AMG manual....I'm there!!

Yes, definitely. I plan on purchasing an E500 4matic. I might wait to see if they are planning an E500 4matic wagon, and if the styling is good, I might choose the stay-wag over the sedan.
If I had the loot, I'd also buy an SL. Man, they are soooooo beautiful.

After the E-motion event here, E is the only way to go. It's many design features surpass S, SL and CL.
Heard that MB is reconsidering the SC AMG - and might bring the non-SC AMG to the US market.

Karl, does this mean we will see you next year in a 2004 E55 AMG?

I am a conservative guy. I'll give it a year AFTER introduction, so a 2005 model E55 in two years - October 2004 looks like a possibility.
I just criss-crossed from M. Beach to Naples/Ft. Myers and back yesterday. What a joy cruising on Alligator Alley with the AMG! -
I wonder whether the state is shrinking, because it appears, that the distances are getting shorter??

Well, all of the quirks will be worked out this year in 2003 for the W211. As you know, the E55 will be using the same engine as the SL55, so the problems with the engine or lack there of, will all be worked out for 2004 aswell. So it will be safe to buy a 2004 E55 .

I will give MB one more chance.... My current lease on the S500 will expire in 2004 at which point I will step up to either the S600 or look at the NEW S class. (500/600)
The interior quality is what bug's me the most. For a 100K car, the use of plastic is inexcusable. The New 7 and Audi 8's have much better interiors.
I like the interior look of the E class, I hope the S class improves as well. Otherwise...Adios to the MB - S.

I will purchase more vehicles in the future if my dealer doesn't screw me on the SL55 I have on order (2nd on list). I've purchased four from my local dealership and I'll purchase many more if my dealer is straight up with me this time around too. I love the service and the special attention I always receive (free washes and annual details) and free rentals during servicing.

I orginally wanted the C coupe, but when I changed my mind and decided a sedan would be better (growing family), I wanted the E class. But I ended up getting the C because I didn't want to get the last year of the old E class. I'm very happy with my little C, but I may trade up to the E in 2 or 3 years.
