Well, I'm not considering it for my own car because it's most certainly illegal and very obvious. But, I see a lot of people around here with the front windscree tinted. Isn't this a bad idea? I mean, not just because of the visibility restrictions but also how do you not get tickets constantly because of it!? Anyone here have experience with a tinted front windscreen?

ive seen it and more and more people are doing it. its usually a very light tint so the police don't notice, but it still makes it harder to see the driver.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal here in West Virginia. When I had my last car done, the tinter said the best he could do would be to affix a narrow strip, like 6", to the very top. He recommended against it because the OEM windshield is already tinted in the same area.
