Looks like there were 2 cars.
Maybe the one SL made it.
Still looks like the one that died is a SL
Hard to tell. Could be a CLK.
And these cars were parked on PCH in front of the houses.
Thats one damn hot fire.

sl...... look at the exhaust....... sl have an exhaust system on both side...... clk only have exhaust on one side......

It appears to have had a panorama roof. As for the wheels, the SLK (which can be confused with the SL) has narrower spokes, and the rear lights are a different style. I am positive it is not an R129, and said it was an R230 based on the roof, wheels, and lights. Man, what a waste of such a fine-looking automobile.

Judging by the indents where the tail lights should be, it looks to me like an R230. The SL tail light is "sharper" toward the trunk, and the top part of the tail light cuts off earlier.
