A copy of what I sent to Ebay..........

The pictures listed in this auction are of the same wheels and tires I tried to purchase back in January 2007.

The seller of that auction, named "shinsales"(auction #270075093654), received my money and never sent the items.

His account was suspended, and I filed a claim through Ebay, as well as the FBI internet crime division, and the Federal Postal Inspector.

This seller may be the same person. Buyer Beware!!!

 

Ebay doesn't give a sh*t. My friend was ripped off on a laptop and when he told Paypal (which is owned by Ebay) not to let the seller withdraw the money, they refused to hold it even 1 or 2 days and let the guy withdraw about $3k.

He never got the laptop, the seller got his money, Paypal/Ebay dropped all the guarantees they have and my friend got zippo.

 

I just wanted to try and warn of a possible problem. I lost $950, and will likely never see the money.

 

Oh yeah, I know. I just wanted to throw in my two cents to people that think its safe to buy on Ebay. Thanks.
