I have the opportunity to purchase a '72 220d in pristine condition with 134k on the clock. What are the areas of concern with this diesel? The first thing to address is the loop type glow plugs need to be upgraded to the pencil type. Other than that, I can find no additional information. With 55hp, its no barn-burner, but a classic never dies.
