Check MB car order status online?
Does anyone know of a way to check the status of your car order online?
This would be much more convenient than trying to follow-up with the dealer all the time.

My girlfriend bought a Mini Cooper and she tracked her car status online, pretty cool.
Wish we can do it for MB as well...

Sadly there's no way to track your car online if you are an MB customer. BMW does it, as does Cooper (subsidiary of BMW, so that makes sense).
Following up with the salesfolk is the only option available - unless of course you know someone inside MB who's *not* your sales person, give them your netstar PO number and let them track it.
Whoever gets you the data they should be able to advise when the vehicle is built (you'll get a VIN number) and then its about a month to delivery - depending.
If your dealer's cars come in to the Belkamp, MD, Vehicle Processing Center, there are ships scheduled to sail on...I don't have my notes here but... Nov 9, 13/16, 18th for Baltimore. Other sailings for Jacksonville and the west coast ports I don't know about. Later sailings will presumably be added as the month progresses.
But the dealer should be able to tell you if the car is already on the water, arrived at the VPC, assigned to a truck to the dealership from the VPC, etc.
