Here is my new plate.
I live in CA, so we shall see how long I get away with this. Rear plate, for obvious reasons, stays the same (screen name).

Highway Patrol humor is VERY different than yours.
They will certainly take that bait. And you will reel in a citation.
That will certainly net you a ticket for no front plate every single time, I think it is almost guananteed..
I would get rid of it, or simply be prepared to consider tickets a normal cost of driving it around like that.
Heck, push the limits, go all the way, put another one on where the REAR license plate would go

Let us know how long it takes before you get ticketed. Technically I'm guessing they could ticket you for a false license plate with intent to elude identification.....or some other mumbo jumbo legalese reason....that will turn a normal fix it ticket into a multi point felony ticket.

New license plate
Not all will. Believe me I used to be one of "them". lol. It's not a major violation as I've said before. As mentioned in other threads, I got this car one month ago as a present to myself for being prostate cancer free. I've learned to lighten up and enjoy life to the fullest and not take things so seriously. Believe me, I was not feeling this way about 4 months ago when I thought I was going to be leaving my wonderful wife and 5 year old child. The car and the front plate in a way identifies me with law enforcement.
Look carefully at my screen name (also my real plate). It is a police term meaning it is a stolen car that is being driven. I've had that plate since I was an officer over 15 years ago. Any police officer that follows me would realize that the driver is probably an officer (used to be) or associated with law enforcement in some way.

New License Plate
ROLN stands for "Rollin." When a police officer runs a plate for wants and warrants and it comes back stolen (29 Victor) he would radio in to dispatch and other officers that he has a "ROLNGTA" , meaning it is currently being driven rather than an abandoned stolen car. This is significant since he most likely will be getting into a pursuit very shortly. Letting fellow officers know the details of what dispatch has told him over the radio about the cars status would be info they need to know. Of course I'm dating myself since most cop cars can run their own plates now without having to call them in.
