newbie here; hope this is the right place to post this. i just bought a new (old stock) c55 at my usual dealer. they tried to tell me the ELW could only be bought day of purchase. this i have verified on the MB website and by a call to customer service NOT to be true. also their prices were marked up quite a bit from the suggested retail listed on the MB website.

does anyone know any dealers (california, perhaps) who are being especially competitive on the ELW or have any recent deal pricing info they would be willing to share? thanks in advance

It's just like shopping for a car. Shop around, try to negotiate a price you're comfortable with once you figure how much this warranty costs(if you haven't already) and buy. Money well spent if you plan on keeping a German car past initial warranty coverage.
