Bought new. High maintenance but still intends to run it through 250,000km (156,250 miles), when I can apply for a long mileage badge from MB Canada to put on grille. Car is close to 160,000km (100,000 miles).

Keeping cars for a long time. !!!!!!
A friend of mine and I did buy a brand new Mercedes-Benz in November 1977. Can you believe that was 30 years ago!!
That was the easy part, the difficult part was, taking the car home and facing our wives. We did and it was no fun. So we promised we would keep the cars for a very long time, the promise was 10 years.
We both lied. I traded my car in after 5 years and my friend after 26 years, not that anything was wrong with it, but he finally wanted a new car.
I am bad for keeping a car for a long time, because I feel that I like some of the latest safety features and technology, at least that is how I convince myself to buy another car.
I see one of the members had already 8 cars. How many in total did the other members own? Anybody with 10 new MB cars?

99 c230 kompressor, 144k plan to drive it until 200k.... i would only consider getting rid of it sooner because of some rust forming. It's black on black w/ black rims. Looks awesome, rust is embarrasing
