What is it?

A friend of mine got a SLK and added the lighting package... I don't see no new addition to the SLK

 

How do you know your friend go it? Didn't your friend explain what it was? Didn't you ask him?

 

The lighting package is HID's. Have him turn his headlights on.

You don't even have to turn them on--just look for the headlight washers.

 

that's not always true. My CLS has the cut outs for the washers but doesn't have the lighting package. So looking from the outside you couldn't tell if it has them or not. Don't know if the SLK is any different. Best way is to turn them on.

 

CLS is probably the only exception. Almost every other model I can think of that's the case.

 

That is definitely weird.
