W140 600SEL

importing a euromodel benz

We are importing a 93 600SEL, euro model. Has an EPA metal sticker on passenger side engine compartment, near windshield. Our rude&unfriendly importer in Florida having problems recognizing the label as EPA compliant. All other DOT conversions done. Need help in who to talk to or if others have experience in importing a German made Benz. thanks in advance.

Are you really importing an MB from Florida?

If you are, the country of origin might be Venezuela, with Chavez as the original owner, -- and his EPA sticker...

there are many crooks in the grey market import business, be sure that you have some history on the car. the conversion is never cheap, so do lots of research first.
