Hello, I think my 1980 450SL automatic transmission linkage is out of adjustment. I can put it in Park, take out the key, but sometimes when I go to restart it- zip, nada. It's like I am trying to start it in Reverse. I can turn off the key, jiggle the selector out of and back into Park and it will usually go. I think it doesn't always make it into Park and needs adjustment. How do I do that?
