Mercedes Factory

Im going to Europe with some friends and backpacking throughout Europe. We are very interested in stopping to look at the Mercedes, BMW and Lamborghini factories. I was wondering if anyone is allowed to go see/tour the AMG factory or if its off limits to the public. IF anyone can knows information about this, please let me know. I already got a hook up for the Lamborghini factory but would love to see the AMG one.
Who should i contact?

Thanks.

I live very close to Affalterbach.... about 20 minutes N/NE of Stuttgart.

to see the actual "factory / factory" (engine hand assembly plant), you need to be a "customer". But you can go right in to the AMG showroom in Affalterbach and browse around and ask questions. They are very friendly, specially if you're walking in with mucho $$$$.
As for where they build the cars themselves, the Mercedes-Benz cars are built in part in Unterturkheim and mostly in Sindelfingen. I know the Sindelfingen plant offers tours to the public, but Unterturkheim is mostly a closed facility. However, the MB Museum and MB Centers are located next to the Unterturkheim plant, and there's plenty of AMG action in both of those places.

There are also assembly plants in Bremen, Berlin, / and Ganz, Austria.

I also have info on BMW Welt (World) and BMW Museum over in Munich if you need it.

Saprissa, so any current Mercedes owner could visit the actual factory (the one you described) part?

We just left "Stuttgart" had a good time. Factory was closed, and I figured the AMG factory would be closed today too. I did visit the MB Museum, great place. I even rode in the simulator Was wondering if they have more "AMG" gear at the showroom in Affalterbach If so, I might go there before I leave next week.
