I'm thinking about getting my windows tinted on my black '06 C280 4Matic. Any thoughts on the various shades (10%? 20%?) and possible advantages and disadvantages?

Does it make the rear sun shade obsolete? I have to admit that I get a real kick out of watching people's reaction to the sun shade open or close, so I'd hate to hide it completely. It's really a great feature when driving with the sun at your back, and when some idiot has his brights on, so I'm thinking that the tint would only improve that aspect of it.

I had really dark on my CLK, but got pulled over and was told I had to change it or get fined. So I got the "Huper Optic" tint instead, and it's way better than what was on it. Not as dark visually, but it blocks the heat a lot better.
