Does anyone know where the MB Bluetooth Adapter Socket is installed in the 2008 MB E350 or what it looks like?

Looks like this, except in the case of E-class the connector is on back wall of console.

The adaptor socket if your car has one, is located in the center console on the back wall. Your car should have been pre-wired for this function. If so, then you would need to purchase a bluetooth adapter from Mercedes. Their not cheap either, close to $350 for one. I would try Ebay, once you contacted Mercedes and got the part number.
