Daimler-Benz Decal
I personally can take it or leave it, but how important is it to most of you to have the traditional Daimler-Benz decal? Worth buying?
My windshield collided with a bouncing metal part - about the weight of a hammer - that flew over a truck. Talk about a RUSH.

You could find them on eBay for less than $10 each. They claim to be genuine, but I can't verify that.
This one here is $2USD:

Since the price is not much, it should be a matter of preference. For me, I prefer the sticker. I just can't see the car with out the decal, if I am looking for it.

Decal
Since the cost of the decal is usually about $1.00 (at least from my dealer), I see no reason not to pick one up at your local parts department. However, I would point out that most parts departments stock a decal that says "A Daimler-Benz Product", while new cars come with one that says "A Mercedes-Benz Product". To get the proper one, you may have to special order.

Just as inexpensive.

THANKS
Hey, thanks for the input.
I've own several older models MBs and Daimler-Benz was the only decal I remember. I'll try the dealership. Thanx
By the way, this place has Daimler-Benz Product decals for $5.00

later.

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)
Get a couple, because those clear plastic/mylar decals are not easy to apply, because of the potential for pesky air bubbles.
My dealer had to apply it twice because of those vexatious bubbles.:o

Air bubbles
To avoid air bubbles, start by applying one end of the decal moving slowly away towards the other end, using a credit card to smooth out any imperfections.
