I've had Benz's for my prior daily drivers, but the ones that are most memorable (not necessarily for good things):

Late-60's red Rambler station wagon (back in the 70's). Boy, did it rumble and ramble!

Early 70's Ford Maverick (driven in the late 70's). My first sports car.

1977 Ford Maverick (driven in the early 80's). My second sports car.

Old broken down Mazda 323 with rust spots and HOLES that I drove as a "camp car" in an American company compound in Saudi Arabia for a year in the early 90's. I bought it for $50. It was not safe and I could be arrested if I parked it in the street in the States. I always had several jugs of water in the trunk for everytime I started the car to go home from work. I had to drive slow around the corners to avoid having a part fall off!

Just curious, JZMD1. Didn't you like those cars you only had for a month? They seem cool to me. Why'd you get rid of 'em?

Why 1 Month?

The ZR-1, Viper and Lotus S4S lasted but one month each as they were unreliable pieces of junk. My cars served both my personal and professional needs; in urgent/emergent scenarios where my presence was required in one or another hospital, absolute reliability of my transportation was a must. These three cars was not trustworthy and, therefore, could not be depended upon.

About those cars you had for a month...

Wow, you were able to ascertain unreliability of 1-month old cars. Whewww, those must have been real lemons!

C32 AMG, Volvo S80T6
always had volvos

Last two were a S80 T6 and a 940SE. Both were very nice cars but were in no way comparing to this beast I just got.
