need advise on M class
Hi,
I know that left hand drive M class are made in the US. So I suppose that all right hand drive ones are originally made in Germany? Is the quality much better than the US made ones?

My opinion is that the German made ones are probably of better quality because I bet the German people who work there pay more attention to what's going on. The factory where they're manufactured here in the states is the same place they manufacture the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would assume you've got about the same quality as Chryslers here in the U.S., which I have to say the Jeep Grand Cherokees have gone severely down in quality. So if you buy an M Class here in the states, you might as well buy a Jeep instead. Cheaper and same quality.

Thanks for the advise. Well, I don't think I'll but a ML if I were in the states. I would rather get a Lexus. Have you ever heard someone praising the quality of a ML? A friend of mine in Singapore owns a 99 ML430. He says he hasn't had a single problem yet after 100,000 km.
