Just had a bad experience with mercedes zimbabwe and south africa. Am looking for a contact in Germany as I purchased the car from MB Germany and had it shipped here. Can anyone assist.

S400L Hybrid
S400L Hybrid

Hi... I am from West Malaysia. I'd bought a brand new unit of S400L Hybrid on 11-12-2015. The car was breakdown on 1-1-2016 with the message of "Battery Malfunction " in red colour appeared on the adjustment cluster. Therefore engine cannot be started and the mileage clocked only at 800km. The car has been towed back to the nearest authorised workshop. 2 days after, I went to the workshop and I notice that my car placed in a high voltage risk of death area. Up to date, 16 days past. None either one of the relevant person from Mercedes can let me know what is the status on my car. Mercedes Benz is best known for its innovations, exceptional performance and top notch of safety features. By the way I'd a fleet of 20 units of Mercedes Actros as I'm involved in a business of road transportation in West Malaysia. Last but not least, that's all the reasons why I bought the premium series S400L Hybrid. Please assists!!!

I have E 200 model 2016 Ecco is not working more than 2weeks in Gargash Dera work shop Dubai United Arab Emirates they could not arrive to repaire it

You won't get any positive responses from Germany. Unfortunately, you are better off going up the ranks in the U.S. until you get the result you are looking for.

I agree. MB in Germany doesn't give a rat's *** about individual customers in America.

Merc W220 S280
I'm driving a Merc W220 S280 made in 2002 VIN no: WDE2200632A183271.
Yesterday the passenger door locking mechanism failed and the door cant be lock due to some plastic parts had broken in small pieces. To add to my irony its EID long holiday here and no workshop is open and i'm about 200km from home.
So the only solution is to tie a plastic rope that I found from the driver door handle to the front passenger door handle so as not to have the door swing open when driving.

The question is : Why Mercedes Benz make a high class cars with very low quality plastic parts which breakoff easily? This life savings door parts should last till the end of days.

Just imagine what will happened if the door swing open when I was driving on the highway?

Therefore I'm very very disappointed.

Please give me a good explaination or I'm going to viral about it in the social media.

Your trully very disappointed.

Recall campaign GL 500

Hi, my car GL500, KM 59806, VIN:1648861 A 672998, entered Mercedes-Benz Service Center Juffali Automotive Company on 20th June 2022 for Re-call Campaign. I received back on 21.06.2022 never explain what they did during this time. I ask the Service Advisor what did you do? He said they check the car and no need for any repairs. I ask for the Air Bag he said they could not do because SRS warning lamp is coming.

I know their is six messages from the air bags because my car is a accident cars, unfortunately, non of the six air bags worked during the accident only the one from dashboard damaged and i changed the front air bag. I told Service Advisor to rectify the issue (find out what exactly happened) make diagnostic test, he said branch I put my car (KHURAISE) they do only quick service and they do not do diagnose, it should be done in main branch and they do not have driver to send.

























Please see the attached messages and I need your support (proper reply) in this regards. I am very dissatisfied with all what has happened to my car.

I also have issue with command display not clear. My question is how can a vehicle done only KM 59806 have display problem. Again this as nothing do with accident.
I wanted proper investigation and clear report from Mercedes-Bnez.

C43, EQS580, E5350, etc.
I got extremely bad experience too. I just purchased the EQS 580 mid December 2022. It die around a month later. Now, the car is in a Mercedes Benz dealership for over a month already and still have no idea when to fix it!!!
