Ethanol Alert
According to a local newspaper article, the US Senate has passed a bill to end the subsidy for ethanol production (45 cents per gal.). It is now in US House. Also, appears to be bills being considered that would prohibit EPA from mandating 15% and maybe any ethanol be added to gasoline.
You might consider contacting your Congressional delegation regarding these issues.
Personally I am in favor of eliminating all ethanol use. It's bad for the taxpayers, it's bad for the engines and it's bad energy policy.
