Could someone please tell me if there is a book or computer program or something else that aftermarket part manufacturer's use to obtain precise measurements of the floormats in all different models of cars?

I've been looking around online using google for some such floor mat pattern database without success, sooo... if you have the inside scoop on where it might be located please let me know. :-)
