I'm thinking that hopefully by next week you should have a letter in the mail telling you to go pick them up, there's a pretty good chance that they are going to be at your DMV office by the end of this week (probably takes 2 to 3 days for you to get the notification after they make it there). They say 8-12 weeks, but most likely no one is lucky enough to get them any sooner than 12 weeks.

I decided to finally order one too back in mid May and the waiting is starting to get to me, but I still haven't reached the 12th week mark (I thought I said this in my last post lol, guess the edit erased it).

I've heard of instances where it has took even a little longer to get them... hope that's not the case. I don't think they will screw it up, it's just a matter of how long it'll take for the plates to be ready... so don't worry.

Did you save a copy of the confirmation page? I'd say if you have some free time on your hands, then schedule an appointment at the office they're supposed to be at for next week and take a copy of that page, someone might be be able to help you or they could just be there already

You are expecting quick service from CA DMV?

You must be new to California...

Cali DMV is the WORST and slowest organization on the planet. Don't expect your plates on anywhere near a normal timeline. I'm still waiting for the title of the car I bought there 6 weeks later.
