Check out the aftermath of this caricide from Japan.

While 90 mph isn't exactly top speed, its still speeding, and obviously there wasn't enough room to react properly. So the question is: should we feel bad for these guys?

The Scarlet Litter.

Those Prius' are dangerous, they should be banned from the highway.

Sorry Ferrari owners, it's now official. Japanese authorities has called this “a gathering of narcissists”. Most interesting part of the news was that a Prius was the first car hit and only sustained minor bumper damage. Lesson learned...never pass a Prius. This looks like a case of a bad lead car driver that led everyone else into a very bad chain reaction. While I'm sure all of have driven like this on occasion (90mph does sound that fast), I’ve always run with guys that maintain a defensible space.

100 mph on wet narrow roads apparently. It really isn't the speed nor the narrowness/lack of shoulder, it's just not respecting the wet conditions. My lowly AWD v6 can lose traction without much effort on wet/damp roads...
