S63 AMG on DW Television Show
I was in Brazil earlier this month, and watching DW Auto Motor Sport. Most of DW's programming is in German, but fortunately this particular show is done in English. I really would like to see if this channel is available with one of the satelite subscriptions.
Anyways, one of the cars they featured was the S63 AMG. I'm assuming this is only a European market model. It's powered by a V-12, 440 h.p., 620 units (didn't quite understand their terminology) of torque @4000rpm, and top speed of 250km/h with speed limiter, or with it removed 280 km/h (174 mph). 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 5.9 seconds.
I believe the AMG S class that they sell here in the U.S. is the S55, and that has the 5.5 litre V-8. I wonder how this S 63 would sell in the U.S. I didn't write down the price, but they stated price in Euros, and in Dollars.
Anyone know of this car?

You are correct. The S63 and CL63 are Euro only AMG Speciality cars as of right now.

Renntech can convert your CL600 or S600 into a 63. Now this isn't just some run of the mill Renntech upgrade, they order and use the EXACT parts that are on the S/CL63 so in actuality you have a real S63 with the authentic 63 parts. It takes about 2 to 4 months to get the 63 parts. My father is getting the conversion done to his S600.
