hi can anyone help me how l can repair the my mercedes s class w221 2007 model S320D . It was moving fine and today will not shift from park.

 

Could be as simple as the brake light switch. Needs diagnosis, not necessarily visible from brake lights operation.

 

When you try to get it out of park does the cluster read "apply brakes to shift from park"? Your problem is most likely the ISM attached on the side of the transmission. You don't have a shift linkage on this vehicle. The ISM is what physically puts the transmission into gear
