1998 C280 Cell phone removal
Hi,
I just purchased a 1998 C280. It has a factory installed cell phone. The handset in the center console is long gone. Can I remove the control unit in the console under the radio as well? Is there any type of insert I can place there? It would be useful as a storage area.

1998 Mercedes e320
I just purchased a '98 e320 that has the complete phone in the console and was wondering the same thing. Not sure if it would still be functional or worth using, but if it is worthless, the extra space would be nice to have. Hopefully someone can help us d.lafler.
