Sirius sat radio is coming for 2004
I have recently recieved an internal MB e mail regarding upcoming Sat radio availability.
It states:
"We hope to issue a formal launch announcement by the December holidays, targeting a first quarter 2004 release.
Most model year 2004 vehicles are pre-wired for Sirius. "
It states:

I got an e-mail from MB confirming the same. Below is the partial text of the message:
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC will offer its new car buyers an integrated SIRIUS
system for model year 2004 vehicles. This is a dealer installed option,
and, many of our vehicles will be pre-wired. If there is an “SAT” button
present on the COMAND or MCS head unit, the vehicle is satellite radio
ready.
We anticipate customers will be able to visit any authorized Mercedes-Benz
dealership and choose from a variety of multi-year packages for SIRIUS by
the beginning of 2004.
