$12k to spend - what to buy?
My wife and I are empty-nesters, and I am looking to get rid of my kompressor-edition Jeep Wrangler and get something I can get into and out of more easily.
I like the style of MB's 2-seaters, but I am 6-foot-4 and I tried on a mid-90s SL500 once and couldn't fit my head into the car with the top on. But maybe later models are a little roomier?
Anyway, if you had $12k to spend on a MB coupe or sedan, what would it be?

W210 e430 is a great ideas... My parents 1999 e320 4matic going strong at 170k miles and looks fairly good... Some rust spots
