Running diesel Mercedes on Bio -diesel

for those that do not know, Bio Diesel is basically an organic oil mixture that can be produced from vegetable oils at home or bought in bulk and tanked to a holding tank. It is an alternative to diesel fuel and as I understand any diesel engine will run on it?

I know wacky, I am looking for information on running Mbs on this compound and if there is anyone that can give me some information first hand about doing it. I will not put anything into the gas-tank until I am very certain about its safety for my car. thanks Jonathan
