Anyone ever done this event, or plan to?

I have a bunch of friends that have done it. They had a blast. In the unlimited class there have been deaths...
In most classes you are limited to a certain top speed, if you exceed it and are caught, you get one big hefty fine.
The object is to get from start to finish at the closest to your group speed, ie. 90mph average over the entire course.
