Battery charging.

Hi all.
I don't do too many miles a week, as I am retired, so I want to try and keep battery well charged.
I have a decent little charger with a facility for a "trickle" charge.
I don't want to nuke the battery and I also don't want to screw up the electronics.
Also, I don't particularly want to have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting battery to charge it.
Advice please!

Get a CTek charger, Cteck makes the charger that most high price manufacturers call their own. They just have their name printed on it and charge 2 , to 10 times the price, (Rolls Royce charges about 10x) . I got the CTek 4.3 Polar, and set to Cold mode for charging Mercedes AGM batteries. It comes with an adaptor I hooked up to the terminals so it's a quick plug in. The unit is designed for charging, repair and long term storage at the proper voltage. J Lennos garage has a good review of its operation. You will be surprised at how many high end manufacturers endorse CTek, and sell them as their own.

They must make a good charger if all these companies slap their name on it!

I just got the NOCO G3500 (with repair). Does the G3500 ever go over 14.8v in any 12volt mode or step? I would like to keep the battery connected but I can't use a charge over 14.8v. (I am not using repair mode while connected)
