4 yr/40k service

We have a '14 ML350 CPO that's coming up for its 4/40. As a first time MB owner, I consulted the Maint Manual. I was surprised to see how much inspection is "REQUIRED".
It got me a bit worried about subsequent warranty work if this work isn't done by a dealer. I like going to the local dealer and I suppose they have to fund the loaners, free ice cream cones and car wash somehow. I was hoping to get away with a basic "A" service plus a brake fluid flush. Am I overthinking this?
(Pardon the cut and paste mishmash. The dots as you know denote which class gets what so not really germane to this discussion).
