Hello, I have a 2010 E350 4MATC AWD. So I noticed something weird about my car with the alarm. When I get out of my car and lock it with my key fob, the blinks blink 3 times, and the red blinker goes off in the car where the emergency lights are which shows that the alarm is active. However, when I pull on the door handles, trunk, and hood the alarm does not sound. However, when I sit inside my car and lock the car with my key fob, the alarm shows that it activates the same way- but when I pull the door handle, the alarm sounds. So how exactly does the alarm work?
