I've had the car for a year now and it has been great up until this point. The problem started after I took it to a shop to get the upper ball joints replaced. I could start it up and it would drive fine, you could stop and turn it off but if you wait more than about 5 minutes to start it again, it won't start. The engine will turn over all day but it won't start again for several hours. Just the other day my dad trying to help see if it was a bad connection on the ecu unhooked and rehooked the wires and it hasn't started since. Can anyone please help I'm at a loss on this one. And there's no check engine light on either

I think they sparked my ecu whenever they unhooked it as they did not unhooked the battery first is it possible to repair or would o have better luck buying a new one
