Protect Seats From Child Car Seat
What's the best way to prevent a child's seat from damaging the my leather seats? I'm not sure how different the rear seats are in mine to other Mercedes but I've got a 2012 CLS550 and the rear seats are more of a 'bucket' style seat. This means that the child seat is cutting into the edges of the car seat and leaving some pretty substantial indents. The rear of the child seat is also leaving marks on the backrest.
I've tried using one of the 'seat protectors' but that was pretty much useless. I've also tried putting a few towels beneath it and it's helped out a little, maybe I need to put a few more underneath.
Is there anything else that could help?
Also, what's a good way to remove these indents? Would a steam cleaner soften up the leather and help it return to how it was before?

Greetings, I have used towels over the years as you have mentioned. Now my car seat has a smooth underside so I no longer worry about it......and plus......who cares LOL.....I used to, but it wore off .

I use a big blanket on the seat and other hanged from the head rest the thicknes when the blanket is foldes is around 1.5 inches, more than enough to keep my leather safe, it does not look fancy, but it is useful to keep my CLS leather.
